Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
GMotion Data is a motion-recording utility provided by Li2Niu (“GMotion Data,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information is processed when you use the GMotion Data mobile app, the companion Garmin Connect IQ watch app, and this website.
1. Information the app processes
Motion recordings
When you start a recording, the watch app collects three-axis accelerometer samples. A session may also include sample sequence numbers, sampling rate, timestamps, clock-quality estimates, connection events, known gaps, device model, app version, and session identifiers.
The mobile app receives and stores these records so it can display the signal and create an export. Motion recordings remain on your device unless you choose to share, back up, or export them.
Purchase information
If you purchase a subscription or lifetime access, Apple or Google processes the payment through its platform store. We use RevenueCat to determine whether the app has an active entitlement. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app-user identifier, product identifier, transaction status, subscription status, country or store region, and related diagnostics. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
Support communications
If you contact support, we process your email address, message, and any diagnostics or exports you voluntarily attach. An exported session can reveal movement patterns, recording times, device information, and any labels you added, so review it before sharing.
Website requests
This website does not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Our hosting provider may process basic request data—such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
2. How we use information
We process information to:
- provide recording, transfer, visualization, export, and purchase-restoration features;
- verify data integrity, identify known gaps, and diagnose timing or connection problems;
- respond to support requests;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information or use motion recordings for targeted advertising.
3. Where processing happens
The Connect IQ watch app sends session data through Garmin’s companion-app communication path to the mobile app. The phone stores the received session locally. Creating an export writes files to a location you select, and any later transfer is controlled by you and the destination service you choose.
Purchase status is processed by Apple or Google and RevenueCat. Website requests are processed by our hosting provider. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Retention and deletion
Motion sessions stay on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Files you export must be deleted separately from their destination.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain service records, and meet legal obligations. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat retain transaction records according to their respective policies and legal requirements.
To request deletion of information you sent directly to us, email support@li2niu.com. We cannot delete copies held only on your device, in an export destination you selected, or in a platform store’s transaction records.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Protect exported archives as you would other detailed sensor data, particularly when they contain long or time-specific recordings.
6. Children
GMotion Data is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
7. International processing
Our service providers may process limited purchase, support, or website-request information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use the safeguards provided by applicable law and by our service-provider agreements.
8. Your choices and rights
You can choose when to start a recording, stop it, delete it, or export it. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information that we control. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify the request before responding.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how the app handles information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
